Hello Bulldog Families!
My name is E’lana Monroe, and I am excited to be part of Widefield Elementary School of Arts as the school social worker. My passion is helping students feel supported, understood, and successful both inside and outside of the classroom. I believe strong relationships and a safe environment help children grow into confident and capable learners.
As a school social worker, I support students through:
-
Social-emotional lessons
-
Small groups focused on social skills, coping skills, friendships and emotional regulation
-
Individual student support
-
Behavioral challenges
-
Collaboration with families, staff, and community resources
I can also help connect families with resources related to:
-
Food and nutrition assistance
-
Clothing and school supplies
-
Counseling and mental health supports
-
Holiday assistance and community programs
I look forward to building relationships with students and families and being someone your child can count on throughout the school year! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me for any support.
