Voters passed ballot initiative 3A and 3B in the 2017 November election. The mill levy will help us to attract and retain high quality staff and continue to fund innovative student programs. The bond will help with capital projects across the district including the building of a new PreK-8 innovation school, Grand Mountain.
With bond dollars at work, Widefield Elementary School of the Arts are able to add electrical upgrades, security cameras, and fire alarm system and security upgrades with general bond dollars. Each school received $31,250 from the bond that will allow them to choose their school discretion bond project. Widefield Elementary School of the Arts chose to add new musical playground equipment, Chromebooks, and counseling flexible seating.
