Students in Mrs. Johnson’s 5th-grade reading group have been working hard on a Native American research project focused on tribes across North America. Each student researched a tribe and presented their learning in a flipbook. To showcase their learning, students then selected a creative project, such as artwork, a slideshow, or a dodecahedron. Three students researched the Comanche, Aztec, and Meskwaki Nations and created headpieces inspired by their tribes’ cultures. This project is a powerful example of how incredibly hardworking, determined, and talented these students are, and we are so proud of the effort and care they put into their learning.
