About Us

Kids on stage

The mission of Widefield Elementary School of the Arts is to provide our learners with a dynamic educational experience that integrates the arts with an emphasis on critical thinking and creative exploration that challenges our scholars to view the world through the eyes of artists and performers.

Innovative Arts

The innovative arts-integrated curriculum at Widefield Elementary nurtures and challenges the whole child— nourishing the intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and artistic development of each student. Widefield students achieve academic excellence as they develop a lifelong love of learning.

Through music, art, theatre, and creative movement, our teachers make classroom learning come alive. The school's highly trained arts specialists provide concentrated instruction in drama and music, fine art, and dance.

The arts specialists also collaborate with the classroom teachers to integrate arts into the core curriculum, resulting in flexible and creative thinkers, ready to succeed in school and beyond.
